Directions from NYC

Take 87 North to Albany, then 787 north to Troy. Go East on Route 7, Route 7 becomes Route 9 in Vermont.

In Bennington, take Vermont route 7 north to exit 4 (Routes 30&11). Turn right off the exit ramp.

Go 5 miles and turn right on to route 30 (routes 30 & 11 split). Go 3.4 miles and turn left on to Old Town Road.

Go 1 mile and turn left on to Winhall Hollow Road. The Alpenrose Inn is 8 tenths of a mile up on your left.

Directions from BOSTON

Route 2 west thru Fitchburg Then take route 12 towards (but not to) Keene N.H. Go approximately 25 miles to Route 119. Go west to Brattleboro.

In Brattleboro take route 5 north ½ mile then take route 30 west. Go approximately 33 miles to the village of Bondville.

You will see the STRATTON MTN access road on your left. Go ¼ mile past this access road on route 30 to Winhall Hollow Road. Turn right on to Winhall Hollow Rd and go 2.5 miles. The Alpenrose is on your left.

* Note: about 1.5 miles up, Winhall Hollow Rd makes a sharp right turn

From Interstate 91 New Haven/Hartford/Springfield

I 91 north to exit 2 in Vermont. Go left at the end of the ramp. Go ½ mile and turn left on to Cedar Street. Go 1 mile and turn left on to route 30.

Go approximately 32 miles to the village of Bondville. You will see the STRATTON MTN access road on your left. Go ¼ mile past this access road on route 30 to Winhall Hollow Road. Turn right on to Winhall Hollow Road.

Go 2.5 miles and the Alpenrose Inn will be on the left.

* NOTE: about 1.5 miles up, Winhall Hollow Road makes a sharp right turn.
