Fall
in Vermont
Autumn in Vermont is an experience not to be missed. The mountains
and valleys are ablaze with the colors of foliage. The air is crisp
and clean with a slight chill of winter to come. Our surrounding area
captures the true essence of autumn in New England. The many quaint
and picturesque villages and towns are bustling with activity. When
you take a break from leaf-peeping check out the local harvest festivals,
craft fairs, and antique shows. As you return to the Alpenrose Inn,
it will be to the aromas of fresh mulled cider and a cozy fire.
Fantastic
Winters
When the snow flies it is time to come back to Vermont to enjoy
the many winter activities. The list of winter activities is endless.
Some people enjoy the rigors downhill/cross country skiing or maybe
snow shoeing through the National Forest on marked trails. Other may
wish to pass the time away in a more relaxing manner. You may ice skate
on our pond or take a sleigh ride through snow-covered fields and woodlands.
No matter what you choose to do you can take comfort in the thought
of returning to the Alpenrose Inn where the fire will always be burning
and our hospitality will warm your soul. Relax by the fire and enjoy
a cup of hot chocolate or mulled cider and reflect on your day's events.
